Pascal Hien

Designer Pacal Hien studied at UDK Berlin. After graduating in 2014, Hien was awarded a scholarship at Fabrica Research Center in Italy before he went on to work at Steelcase Inc. and Konstantin Grcic. In 2016, he was named one of Wallpaper magazine's top graduates. In 2023, Pascal Hien used the experience he gained working with these studios to open his own design studio, Office for Design. His studio works with companies worldwide, providing services starting from initial concepts to creative consultancy to launching a final product.

Pascal Hien aims to take an honest and reflective approach to his work, considering human behaviour, production techniques, and the future of our economy. During his career, Hien has worked with many notable brands, including Le Klint, where he designed the innovative Spot table/ wall lamp. His work has been showcased in exhibitions around the world including 3 Days of Design Copenhagen, Triennale Design Museum Milan, and London Design Museum London.
