Michele de Lucchi is an Italian designer and architect who was born in Ferrara in 1951 and went on to study Architecture in Florence. Over the years he was a part of many radical and experimental movements, which went on to bleed into the inspiration of his work. De Lucchi has also designed and restored numerous buildings for national and multinational companies. He has designed numerous iconic collections including the Artemide Tolomeo, Artemide Castore and the Artemide Dioscuri.
Huub Ubens specialises in furniture design, lighting design and wellbeing. His work consists of pure and timeless designs, with his main inspiration being drawn from street anthropology. Ubens founded his own design studio in Milan in 2005, where he and his team create thoughtful and unique designs. Since then the company has moved to Montpellier in Southern France. Ubens was also the head of the Artemide design team for seven years.
