Marianne Andersen

Marianne Andersen is a talented industrial designer who graduated with a master's degree in Industrial Design from Oslo School of Architecture and Design in 2013. She is the mastermind behind the popular Rise Wall Light by Normann Copenhagen and has exhibited at different trade fairs around the world, including New York, Milan, Paris, Tokyo, and Stockholm. Andersen is currently employed as an Industrial designer at the design studio Anderssen & Voll.

Her designs are described as functional and minimalistic. Andersen enjoys immersing herself into a great variety of subjects with a naive and childlike approach, as discovering something for the first time. Each design by Marianne Andersen aims to have its user at the forefront of its mind, as she strongly believes understanding of whom you are designing for and how this affects the aesthetics, purpose and the complexity of the design.
