Lorenzo Truant is an Italian designer who obtained a degree in Architecture from the University of Venice, he graduated in 2001. During his time at the University of Venice, Truant studied alongside A. Romano Burelli and Heinz Tesar, he also wrote a thesis on airport design titled “Il Cielo di Treviso”. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree, he went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Product Design and once completing his studies Truant worked at the Lombardi & De Carli Associati.
Since 2005, Lorenzo Truant has been the Art Director of Axolight, helping advise on creative ventures. In 2012, Lorenzo collaborated with the prolific designer Karim Rashid to produce the Nafir Lamp for Axo-Light. He currently designs lighting solutions where he implements the latest LED or OLED technologies, creating innovative pieces without having to sacrifice the look of the products.
