Lars Tornøe is a Norwegian designer, specialising in furniture and product design. Tornøe graduated from Bergen National Academy of the Arts in 2006, with a Masters degree in Furniture and Spatial Design, before going on to co-found a design studio with Atle Tveit in the same year. This studio was titled Tveit and Tornoe. One of their most famous designs of their collaboration was The Dots collection for the Danish brand Muuto.
Over the years, Lars Tornøe has won various awards and works with a selection of Nordic brands, two of his biggest awards have been Designer of the Year in Norway and the Award for Design Excellence. As well as this, Tornøe's work is showcased all across the globe.

A lot of my initial ideas include an abstract vision of the expression and personality that the product should communicate.
