Jordi Miralbell & Mariona Raventós

Jordi Miralbell & Mariona Raventos are a design duo who focus on high-quality craftsmanship and collaborated for over 15 years. They both studied at ELISAVA from 1974-1977 and just two years later in 1979, the pair founded their own interior and graphic design studio. Although Miralbell & Raventos began their careers focusing on these two sub-genres of design, in 1989 they branched out and began to design furniture, lighting and accessories - this led to their partnership with Spanish editors Santa & Cole.

Mariona Raventós expressed herself best through craftsmanship: the treatment of materials, textures and colour, looking after the sensual part of projects. Jordi Miralbell provided the volume, the proportions, the structure and the mechanical functioning. Their products are warm and simple and coexist harmoniously with a wide range of interiors and personal styles.
