Jonas Bohlin is known as Sweden's best designer. He was educated at Konstfack University in Stockholm before going on to open his own architecture firm in 1983. He was also the founder of the Department of Design at Beckmans School of Design, Stockholm, and one of the founders of the Swedish company Klong. The key themes throughout his work are elegance, precision and unconventional originality.
Throughout his years, Bohlin has designed interiors for some of Stockholm's most exclusive restaurants. But his most famous design was his iconic Concrete chair, which has become a cult favourite. In 1994 he made headlines for embarking on a three month rowing session across the channel to Paris on boat Live, this was when he found inspiration for the Liv collection.
