Hans Thyge Raunkjær is a Danish designer who started his creative career as a set designer in a Danish theatre. Hans Thyge & Co specialises in designing furniture, lighting, objects and interiors since 1990. They have since developed a long history of know-how and experience working with a variety of materials and production methods. The design studio houses a dynamic group of talented designers, each with their own unique perspective and creative flair. They are all united by their unwavering passion for creating designs that are not only visually stunning but also functional and purposeful. This team is never afraid to push boundaries and explore innovative ideas, constantly striving to exceed expectations and deliver exceptional work.

In 1983, Raunkjær embarked on a journey to Milan where he had a remarkable opportunity to work alongside the highly celebrated designers of Memphis Group. Over seven years, he had the privilege to immerse himself in the world of Italian design and architecture, all under the guidance and leadership of the legendary Ettore Sottsass.
