Garcia Cumini

Garcia Cumini is a multidisciplinary studio, founded in 2012 in Italy by Cinzia Cumini and Vicente Garcia Jimenez. Cumini originates from Italy, whilst Garcia Jiminez was raised in Spain, so their studio combines Italian and Spanish heritage, as well as a personal philosophy of 'slow design. Vicente Garcìa Jimenez graduated in Technical Engineering specialising in Industrial Design at the Faculty of Experimental Sciences of Castellon de la Plana, whilst Cinzia Cumini graduated in the Conservation of Cultural Heritage specialising in the Social/Philosophical area at the University of Udine.

The duo harbour experience in design, products and communication which is harnessed into their work, and each creation shares core fundamental values; creativity, beauty and joy for life. Each design is packed with personality and can be described as poetic and functional.

The studio is based in Udine and has worked with a range of influential brands, including Foscarini for whom they curated the Spokes collection. Studio Garcia Cumini aims to make each individual design, space and experience unique, whether it refers to a product, a fitting, a catalogue or a brand.
