Francisco Gomez Paz

Francisco Gomez Paz was born in Salta Argentina. He graduated from Universidad Nacional de Cordoba with a degree in Industrial Design. In 1998, Gomez Paz decided to move to Milan, where he where he obtained a Master's degree in Design from Domus Academy in 1999 and eventually opened his own design studio in 2004.

The work of Francisco Gomez Paz is heavily driven by his own curiosity, new technology and an incredibly hands on creative process. Since opening his design office in Milan in 2004 he has developed products for leading design companies such as Artemide, Driade, Luceplan, Olivetti and Sector among many others. His work has received several international awards such as the Red Dot Award 2010; Good Design Award 2010, Prize of Prizes to Innovation in Design and the prestigious Compasso d’Oro 2011.
