Born in 1950, Enzo Catellani is a self made designer who favours natural materials. His work utilises simple but beautiful shapes, and every product is made by hand. Catellani began making his own lamps in the 1980's, selling them out of his own shop, before eventually he got discovered by a German distributer in 1989. This distributer insisted on displaying Castellani's work at the Ambiente Expo in Frankfurt.
The same year Catellani got discovered, he founded his own design company: Catellani & Smith, and so began the first steps to his great global success. Enzo Castellani's designs utilise high quality natural materials. In recent years he has began focusing more on outdoor lighting solutions, helping you to illuminate your exterior.
