Dodo Arslan is an Italian designer with Armenian roots who lives and works between Miami and Milan. His diverse creativity has led to the creation of one-of-a-kind pieces as well as mass-produced items, covering a wide range from electronic devices to bronze fusions. He is a prolific designer, creating furniture, lighting, tableware, and even electronics. He founded his studio in 2004.
Dodo Arslan has worked with
Terzani for many years and created several lighting designs. Arslan's work comes from an extensive analysis of objects — disassembling them and making models to study a product’s components and materials. He explores shapes, prisms, and spheres and the idea of a frame and structure of a piece, be it a skeleton, weft, mesh or chassis.
