Diego Fortunato

Diego Fortunato was born in Buenos Aires, and now resides in Barcelona, he began his product design studio in 1995 when he set up a studio and was asked to design a chair. Fortunato is a self-taught designer who works in the fields of product design, sculptures, art installations, graphic design and branding.

He approaches design with freedom and manages to create whilst disregarding confining design rules, Diego Fortunato wants audiences to feel a story behind his work to connect. In 2011, Fortunato opened a London-based office and from the years of 2012 to 2019 he was the Creative Director at the Coll and Cortes Gallery. Over the years, Fortunato has designed multiple bestsellers which can be thanks to his perception of the space around him and the reality of his environment, his vision of things allows his designs to become a success. The Argentinian designer has also worked with global manufacturers such as Vibia.
