David Derksen

David Derksen, a Dutch designer and material innovator, is renowned for his ability to merge industrial techniques with poetic forms. Since establishing his studio in Rotterdam in 2009, Derksen has explored the boundaries of materiality, alternating between experimental projects and industrial design. His work has been showcased at prestigious events such as Salone del Mobile in Milan, and he has collaborated with leading international brands.

Inspired by mathematics, geometry, and organic structures, Derksen’s designs embody both precision and fluidity. Among his notable achievements are his role as Creative Director for WL Ceramics and the launch of his lighting collection ARRAY.
