Christian Flindt

Christian Flindt is a Danish designer based in Copenhagen. He graduated from Aarhus School of Architecture in 2002 with with an MAA and an MDD, before opening his very own design studio in 2003. Flindt works mainly with Louis Poulsen and his work is classed as fresh and daring, his designs are inspired by people, with the aim of his products to help consumers make new connections.

Flindt understands the importance of lighting for human behaviour, helping him to understand human needs and provide functional lighting solutions. You will find a lot of work with LEDs in his designs, Flindt loves to utilise LED light sources as they're easy to combine with a wide range of materials. The work of Christian Flindt has been exhibited all over the world and won numerous awards, including the Bolig Magasinet Design Award.
