Benjamin Hubert

Benjamin Hubert is a British industrial designer and founder of LAYER, who have partnered with brands such as; Pepsi, Google, Nike, Samsung and Braun. He studied Industrial Design and Technology at Loughborough University, graduating in 2006. Less than a year later he founded Benjamin Hubert Design Studio and quickly became a leading voice in the industry. Hubert designs both furniture and lighting, with a strong attention to detail and creates timeless products that do not follow trends. All of his designs add a touch of playfulness.

Hubert has received a number of prestigious awards including: Design of the year (British Design awards 2010) Best Product (100% design/Blueprint awards 2009) Young Designer of the year 2010 (Elle Decoration International Design Awards) Young Designer of the year 2009 (Elle Decoration Awards France).
