Adriano Rachele

Adriano Rachele is a celebrated Italian designer known for his innovative approach to contemporary lighting. After earning a degree in Industrial Design in 2007, Adriano joined Slamp's Research & Development department, where he continues to craft some of the brand's most iconic collections. His work stands out for its blend of modern production techniques with an artisan’s touch, creating lighting that feels both personal and unique despite being produced in series. His award-winning designs, such as the Veli and Clizia collections, are characterised by soft, organic forms and a poetic, emotional appeal.

Adriano believes that design should go beyond functionality to express emotion and soul, giving each piece a distinct personality. His meticulous attention to detail and passion for handcrafted elements ensure that every creation carries a sense of individuality. With a commitment to sustainability, Adriano incorporates innovative materials and environmentally responsible production methods, and his work has earned international acclaim, including the prestigious Red Dot Design Award in 2012.
