Anglepoise + Paul Smith

The collaboration between Anglepoise and Paul Smith is an iconic British project which utilises the ideology 'classic with a twist'. Anglepoise are noted for their iconic desk lamps that boast an instantly recognisable silhouette; whilst Paul Smith is famed for their creative and curious clothing designs. The two brands came together to release a new interpretation of the Type 75 range, which was originally released in 2004.

This range features six editions, all utilising varying colours. Edition One’s colours are evocative of the summer, while Edition Two uses the deep, rich hues of autumn. Edition Three Lights carry a different approach with the visual vocabulary of Dutch painter Mondrian’s De Stijl style of art. Edition Four was inspired by Paul Smith's collaboration with Land Rover, celebrating the quintessential colours of the British countryside. The Editions Five and Editions Six were designed to accompany one another, both boasting the classic Paul Smith artist stripe.
