Flos: 2024 Releases

29 November 2024

Our online catalogue continues to expand every year, with new designs launching during every season. One of our most influential brands, Flos ,carries some of the most influential releases every year. From new additions, to existing collections, to special launches and anniversary editions, 2024 has been a big year for the Italian brand.

Flos are always keen to experiment with contemporary designs and add a fresh take to the world of lighting, and they are always working alongside the world's most interesting designers to complete the task.

We are here to showcase the brand's 2024 releases and help to showcase why they are a representation of true Italian design.

Flos IC 10-Year Anniversary Collection

One of the brand's most iconic ranges saw an evolution in 2024; the Flos IC was transformed to boast a 24K gold-plated structure with each piece adorning a unique number and signature. This adaptation was to highlight the 10-Year anniversary of the original series of luminaires and commemorates not only the ten years since the initial design was released but also the ten years since Flos' first collaboration with Michael Anastassiades - who is a prominent figure throughout their lighting solutions. Each lighting solution in this collection emits a warm diffused glow which can be used in a variety of settings. The IC 10-Year lights are an elegant and sophisticated way to illuminate your interior.

Flos Snoopy in Blue

A truly iconic design, the Snoopy Table Lamp was conceived by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1967 and perfectly embodies a tendency to infuse functional design with a sense of humour. With a silhouette resembling the famous cartoon dog that gave it its name, the lamp’s design has remained unchanged: a slanted marble base supporting an enamelled metal shade held in perfect equilibrium. The illumination is projected almost entirely towards the working area of the surface below, making it a great addition to large desks and workshops as well as side tables.

The Snoopy has evolved over the years, now including bolder finishes. The 2024 addition boasts a navy-blue shade, and was inspired by a hue used by Achille and Pier Giacomo on their Sciuko lamp for Flos in 1966.

Flos Bellhop Glass Collection

Another one of the brand's iconic ranges saw a further evolution in 2024. The Flos Bellhop range is now available with a triplex opaline glass diffuser developed in collaboration with the Flos R&D Department.

Available as a table lamp or a pendant, these new releases explore the influential design in a new material and bring new aesthetic and technical possibilities. The Bellhop Glass is an excellent ambient light, boasting a curved glass shade that projects the light source into the room whilst preventing glare. A cone of light is created, which expands into the environment on all sides like a torch.

Flos EMI Collection

The Flos Emi collection was designed by Erwan Bouroullec with the aim of providing professional-grade lighting for residential interiors. Emi is available in a range of earthy finishes that can adapt to a variety of contemporary spaces, as well as offering the choice between a Floor Lamp or Table Lamp. It offers a unique aesthetic to interiors and is a creative new release by Flos.

These lighting solutions utilise a unique geometric silhouette consisting of triangular shapes, the steel structure is fitted with three LED lighting modules which are expertly hidden within the frame and produce functional glare-free illumination. This illumination is projected both upward and downward into your interior, resulting in a more even dispersion of light.
